In the summer of 2016, we updated the kitchen.  Remodeling is always both rewarding and challenging.  But I think we made an improvement.

It's a perfect day for dining al fresco. Hopefully this beautiful weather will last for the next several months.

Peepers!

While we enjoyed a long and lovely winter complete with much snow fall; today I heard the Peepers for the first time. Spring is officially here days ahead of the calendar.

The Peepers Are Here!

Yes, they are all here now, en masse. The pond is full of these little Peepers. The sound of dusk is full...and happy.

Peeper Scout

One of my favorite sounds of Spring, the Peepers. Tonight, I heard one, lone Peeper. I believe the Scout is out.

Here Comes the Sun

As the weather has broken across the Northeast, we have gratefully seen the temperatures rise. Although we have had a couple of days of precipitation, it is rain. And well above freezing. The next week promises to be beautiful. We might even see the Crocus, Daffodils and Tulips sprout before long.
